Russian missiles over Syria forcing airlines to change route.

Airlines want if the Syrian conflict to prevent a similar scenario in Ukraine. Using long-range missile by Russia last week against targets in Syria had prompted the aviation authorities to issue a security warning for flights over Iraq, Iran, the Caspian Sea and its surroundings.

Already last week, some of the companies on their own initiative changed their routes. Airplanes now, according to The WallStreetJournal flying rather through Saudi Arabia and Egypt than Iran. If it was closed corridor, flights would be increased and airlines should pay more for fuel.

If the conflict will escalate, airlines will have to change the route in a relatively busy air corridor that connects Europe with the Middle East and Asia. Although missiles fly below the plane, no one will want to risk the tragedy that took place over the Ukraine.

Relevant organizations, particularly Eurocontrol, so now preparing plans for how to handle a possible change of route about 800 aircraft daily. Change can come from day to day.
